| AIMS AND SCOPE |
| The Weed & Turfgrass Science is a journal for papers related to the publication of fundamental research and applied research on aspects of weed and Turfgrass science. The Journal publishes reports of basic research on turfgrass breeding, physiology, pest and pesticide, herbicide, resistance, soil and fertilizer biochemistry, biological and physical processes affecting environmental changes in turfgrass and weed. Topics also include molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, metabolism, develop-mental biology, ecology, taxonomy and systematics, genetics (genomics), pathogen and disease and weed control, physiology, and industrial biotechnology using weed and turfgrass. |
| Journal Publishing |
| Weed & Turfgrass Science is an official publication of both The Korean Society of Weed Science and The Turfgrass Society of Korea. Weed & Turfgrass Science was renamed from formerly Korean Journal of Weed Science from volume 32(3), 2012, Korean Journal of Turf grass Science from volume 25(1), 2011 and Asian Journal of Turf grass Science from volume 26(2), 2012 which was launched by two society in 1981 and 1987.
Weed & Turfgrass Science is published on March 30, June 30, September 30 and December 31, which is delivered to 700 domestic and foreign members. All manuscript should be submitted to the journal homepage http://www.weedturf. org (http://www.turfgrass.kr; http://www.kwss.or.kr). Manuscripts submitted to the journal must represent reports of original research which must be written in Korean or English. No responsibility is assumed by two society for statements and opinions expressed by the contributors to the journal. Author must be conform to these instructions when submitting manuscripts. |
| Publication Types |
| Weed & Turfgrass Science will be published on original Research articles, Research notes and Review. Review is solicited by the Editor-in-Chief or Editorial Board Members to provide an incisive examination of the latest advances in a topic relevant to weed and turfgrass science. Research notes are intended for presentation of brief observations that do not full-length papers which should contain solid, experimentally proven data and should not be considered preliminary observations. |
| Manuscript Organization |
| Manuscript should be arranged in the following order: Title, Abstract, key words, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discus-sion, Acknowledgments, References, Tables, and Figures. In some cases, the Results and Discussion can be separated into two section (Results, Discussion) for more effective presentation. Research notes and Review manuscript should be arranged in the following order: Title, Abstract, Sub-title, Conclusion, Acknowledgements, References, Tables, and Figures. |

| The Weed & Turfgrass Science (formerly Korean Journal of Weed Science, Korean Journal of Turfgrass Science, and Asian Journal of Turfgrass Science) is published for The Korean Society of Weed Science and The Turfgrass Society of Korea by Hanrimwon Publishing Company. |
